This contest held last August 24, 2017 showcased 35 candidates vying for the title of Miss World Philippines, where the winner will compete in Miss World pageant in China on November 2017. The contestants displayed their best resort and beachwear for the Beach Beauty Challenge at this Boracay resort.
7 ladies emerged on top for the “Beach Beauty Challenge” last Thursday afternoon. Among the winners were Cynthia Thomalla from Cebu, Zara Carbonell from Batangas, Jeanyfer Ozbot from Iloilo, Shiela Reyes from Valenzuela City, Janela Cuaton from Masbate and Teresita Seen Marquez representing Parañaque City.
Aside from this contest, the candidates were also scheduled to conduct a beach cleanup activity as an outreach effort to keep the island shores clean. This event was sponsored by the Kalibo local government unit through Councilor Juris Sucro.
